How it works

From an anonymous visit to a profile you can review

There is no magic in identity resolution. A script records activity, data providers supply possible matches, and your team decides what is appropriate to do next.

Install the pixel

You add one script from the Installation area of the portal to your website. Before you do, you update your privacy policy so visitors are told about it. This is the only technical work most teams have to do.

The pixel records activity

When someone visits, the pixel records what happens on your site, including pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, video plays, form submissions, text copied, referring source, IP address, device, browser, approximate location, and time zone.

This alone gives you a clearer view of how your site gets used, even when a visit never matches anyone.

A match may follow

The platform checks the visit against information held by its data providers. When it finds a match, the visit can be connected to a profile that may include a name, email addresses, phone numbers, age range, job title, company, and location.

Many visits will not match. Results depend on your audience and on what providers hold, so we do not quote a standard rate.

Results appear in the portal

People show up in Visitor Data and businesses in Company ID. The dashboard and Traffic summarize the activity. Orbit is available for consumer-intent audiences, and webhooks can send records to systems you control.

Your team decides what happens next

This is the stage software cannot do for you. Someone needs to review what came in and choose an appropriate response. That might be improving a page, adjusting a campaign, flagging an account for sales, or doing nothing at all.

Any outreach has to meet the rules for its channel and your state. A matched phone number is not consent for marketing texts, and we will keep repeating that because it is the mistake with the highest cost. Read how we approach compliance and what to do with identified visitors for practical next steps.

Common questions

How long does setup take?

Adding the script is usually quick for whoever manages your website. Allow time for your privacy policy update and legal review, which should happen first.

Where does match information come from?

From third-party data providers connected to the platform. Your privacy policy should disclose that visits may be matched to information held by those providers.

What if a visit does not match?

The activity is still recorded and counts toward your traffic view, but no profile appears for that visit. Pricing is based on identified leads.
